چکیده

The construction of a small-sized panel based on anthocyanins from Erythrina crista-galli as sensitizers is reported in this work. device, named KD12, was placed indoors at the Artigas Antarctic Scientific Base March 2019 to December 2020. Here released for first time, indoor installation dye-sensitized solar cells pigments Uruguayan national flower an and evaluation their performance during nineteen months. showed good stability maintained its efficiency conversion over period. output power, voltage generated device mainly depended irradiance external factors light reflection due snow or artificial bulbs near area. Additional protection provided by double-glass window front panel, lowering lighting changing spectral characteristics incident device. A new prospect raised here: potential application electricity generation area with long term operability, where low temperatures are helpful considering thermal dyes. These constitute interesting step low-cost alternative searching clean energy sources, focusing cold region like Antarctica.
